Boxing in of Radiator?
Will my radiator output be effected if I box it in?

Yes, but how much will depend on the degree to which the radiator is enclosed. Boxing around radiators should always seek to maintain the greatest degree of air movement vertically through the boxing, with a substantial air gap at the bottom and a grille of high free area at the top.

Such an arrangement might well reduce it's output by as much as 40% or more.

If standard top and side panels are fitted, as supplied by most manufacturers, even this will reduce the output by about 5%.
